Clutch Spring Washer Q.

I'm about to fit some anodised spring washers to my std. clutch. I read a previous post which said to undo the bolts in a criss cross fashion and I can see why.

In my instance I don't want to take them all off at the same time as I am not replacing the pressure plate. Would it be ok to undo two at a time in a criss cross fashion? Or would this warp the clutch?

Thanks in advance.

I doubt you'll go far wrong with that.

Do it when the bike has not been used (cold clutch) as it strips the treads so Ducati advised me. Don't do them up all that tight as 5NM is recommended. More bling. keep on Blinging.

like Felix says, that will be fine, just don't overtighten them when you put them back in, as the posts can snap....

put a little copperslip on the bolt threads when you refit them.
