Hello

Harv748 I had the same problem, and as Shazaam states replace the wires with higher gauge, got mine in Mapplins, I replaced the wire to the regulator, but not yet all the way through to the alternator, but intend to.
Also used bullit connectors, and heat shrink.

I was also worried I may have damaged the regulator, but I found my wires were burnt out at the connection block, which I have cut out.

I would say you should be ok though. If you need any wire, connectors etc, let me know.

Thats what I'm hoping Weeksy...last tme I had a rectifrier problem...it cost me over £1300! (Wireing loom/Bat/tray/blah blah blah).
