Drop that lump . . .

Hello all

I am in the process of a swap over, one lump or two you might say.

all ready for the drop but I have a problem new chain and sprockets are on.

So can I support the engine then raise it to take off the front sprocket and chain and will I have enough room/space? never done this before but all was going well until I realised I had a rope around me neck . .

any pointers would be great. .

regards

I'd split the chain. You can always get a new soft link and rivet it together again after yoiu've reinstalled the engine.

Hello,

Thanks for the tip, managed to get the chain/sprocket off while taking the engine out,
But stupid old me forgot to put the chain back, so now I need to split the chain anyway.

need a soft link for a regina chain . .

One other thing I have noticed that the newer engine has one wire coming out of the netural switch and the old two, can I just swap them over? put the old one in instead?

regards
