900ss suspension settings
Hi

can I rob a few brains out there in the search for sussie bliss!

I run a 96' 900ss doing fun road miles and track days. Of very average riding ability (

I weigh just over 11 stone and am only 5'6" and I run at :-

Front: forks protruding through yokes 14mm, 15mm of preload, 3 clicks out of rebound, 6 clicks out of compression

Rear: 22mm of preload, 1turn out of rebound, 1and a half turns out of compression

Might soften up the preload both ends for longer road rides.

Any comments suggestions on these! Anyone out there race or track a 900ss or S/L that I can pick the brains of ?

Cheers

Gravelrash,I ride a 900SS/98 model and my front suspension is set at 17 clicks out on the bottom of the forks. 15 clicks out on the top of the forks,I find the bike good in the corners and I ride conservitivly on the road, done the track day at Mallory.Sound like yours is a tad firm for my liking. Regards Fordie
