I won't bother claiming my £20 back, the club needs it far more than I do.
I hope I don't stand alone on this

Mmmmm.....I'm not sure my non-Ducati riding mate that isn't a member of this club (that I persuaded to come along to bump the numbers up) will feel the same way.

I can see your point Wylie. Maybe I should have said I hope other members will stand by me on this

Get onto Mr Bushell and claim that cash!!

I had a brilliant day out!

i am disapointed with the lack of offical response from the club on this £20 refund business, no one seems to be responding to my emails at the club at the moment re the refund.

why didnt they hand out the £20 notes on signing on?

seems to me that they are just sticking their ghead in the sand and hoping it goes away.

My perspective is, that i booked 2 days before the day influanced by this thread. seemd good value to me @ £120.
wasnt easy to get the time off work etc etc. and it looked like there would be enough interest to get the reduced price for everyone. great i thought!!

it is clear that some people dont need the money, and would like to donate it to the club thats fine with me but it shouldnt mean that the club withdraw the offer to others who wish to hold them to the bargin.

i really cant see how the club can justify paying some people the money back on the day, but not others. seem to me to be a small minority of peolpe that have had the £20 refund.

although im a member
perhaps im not part of the Clique,

if thats how it is keep it along with next years membership

I'm sure if you just send chris an email - he'll refund you. In fact I'm certain he will.

Hope you had a good day Bungi.

Totally agree - Chris, if you're out there, keep me £20, I booked in good faith for the full amount, had a fantastic time (as did everyone else judging by the TA5 thread) and well worth the money - AND I'd prefer the club stay profitable so that there are more days like that next year

Ian

PS: Just make sure you organise the weather as well next time too

Same here fellas. I would prefer it to stay with the club so that there is more in the kitty to reduce the overall loss on the day!
