Help !! - Starting a bike after storing for 2 years

I have bought a 748SP that has been stored in a garage for 2 years and never been turned over. The garage was dry but the engine has some external corrosion on the sump etc. Nothing serious.
It was running well when put there - so full of oil. My thoughts on starting safely:
- drain and fill with new 20/50 fully synthetic plus filter
- new belts plus check rockers and valve clearances
- pour lots of oil into upper heads through rocker covers to 'soak' cams etc
- check all electrical connections
- put small amount of oil in cylinders and turn by hand
- turnover on starter motor to get oil circulating
Finally - after draining any fuel and refilling with new 98RON - fire it up !

Any comments, thoughts, ideas, please. It's a nice bike andI want to get it running without any damage

I bought an 800 ss that hadn't ran for 3 and half years. Ducati John knew the full service history and I got him to do a full service and it started first time. I am now racing it with my 2nd round tomorrow.
