Risky??

My 998 has done 12,700 miles, and is due a service
I wanna do silverstone GP next week and i doubt i will be able to get it serviced in time!
I was wondering how many miles i can do before the warranty is void?
I had the belts changed at 6000miles so they are not a worry.
Will I get away with it?

The most important thing is that you get your oil and filter changed and cam belt tension checked.

I imagine you'll find the rev limiter around Silverstone.....

Cheers.

Thanks mate, I'm more concerned about the warranty though, will they void it if i get it serviced at 13,000miles?

Phone a dealer and ask ..... one that wont recognise your voice would be good ... try Ducati London South on 020 8689 6998.

Doesnt the cable just screw in at the wheel end? Unscrew it and zip tie it to the fork leg.

Weeksy,

Just pop the nosecone off and you can see where it screws in at the back of the clocks.... doddle mate ....

You know it must be an easy job if I can do it ...

cheers P - the speedo cable is notorious for rubbing against the ohlins forks especially the damn seals - took a while to route it properly so i'd rather disconnect it from the clocks if its as easy as you say it is
