Hello Bradders

Have you tried this http://192.168. etc which should bring up the belkin
setup/home utility, if you can get this page to load you will need to setup
some form of security, basic being 64Bit WEP. As at a guess this is your problem.

If you can not, install the disk and run through the setup again.
connecting via ethernet (yellow or Blue cabe direct to PC - modem)
ie "do not connect the router at this stage"

I have the same setup although via a desktop and Telewest, which are owned by NTL

Once you can get the above http and all is well it should say connected top right in green. then you can play around with the settings to try and get the best speeds

Hope this is of some help, I am sure the technical guys will be along
in due corse, barring that belkin have free tec support if you wanna chat to somebody in Deli.

good luck mate.

regards

I just spent several hours last week and yesterday trying to get a Belkin wireless router working, eventually gave up plugged in a netgear and hey presto. Thats the third one ive seen and the third one sent back.

One thing though on the belkinyou must not put http:// in front of the ip address. good luck

Paul, give me a call / text if you're still struggling and I'm sure I can find an hour to pop around.
