748r Insurance

just insured my 748r thru insuremyducati(peopleschoice).excellent price quoted me
£350 including ti Termis,protected no claims,leather and lid protection,breakdown,third party other peoples bike,unlimited mileage and european cover,social,domestic and pleasure use including commuting!Was quoted £345 for standard bike with no extras(wouldn't touch with termi's fitted).

Ill tell you what, I was really supprised, I insured myself on my new 01 748R and it was less than my CBR600RR

Not only that prior to that i got a quote for a 748S and it was more...odd


No pillion cover though

Mood: excited about the changes made to averysmotorcycles.co.uk that are coming up
how old are you guys if you dont mind me asking,im 27 and looking for a 748r. i have 2yrs ncb and 1 theft claim and the cheapest ive got was £700 fc from express only my 2nd phone call but £600 cheaper than anyone will quote on the net

any suggestions on wheres cheapest

Have a look at my thread, "insurance method works" - it really does.

Having said that, Access Underwriting (insuremyducati) is quite good and seem to have the best package available all round. It was for me at least.

got a quote today which seemed fairly reasonable and will probably use them when i get the 748. the guy didnt seem to interested in getting my buisness though and ive had some nasty dealings with n.union so will only give my cash to someone who's interested in me and my bike
