I eventually got back to Plymouth at 4am on sunday morning (eyes on stalks) after a mind numbing journey from Bielefeld - set off Saturday midday. 6000 rpm maximum varied roads etc - (running it in) was not my idea of bliss. Was planning to do rideout to New Forest on sunday, but snapped gear lever against sidestand (just outside Calais) and jury rigged the bike to get it home (Good job it has lots of torque!!)
Anyway after an oil and filter change and a bit of jiggery pokery to get it licensed over here, I reckon it's going to be a real laugh - Previous owner claimed 175KG wet - and it feels even less than my old RGV (well ok ....... almost!!)
Cheers again for the pitstop - although your coffee was quite the most revolting I have ever tasted!!

Happy Days
Justin

I have come to the conclusion that the slogan for the registration should read:

"Aaaarrgh seat hurty!!"

It's fair to say that the Chalfonts got a hammering!
