Judder

Hi
I've just put a dep down on a strada..moving up from my motard..but have been a bit put off by reading lots of bad stuff about brake judder..

is it true..should I be worried..etc..etc..

and ..can I really ditch the airbox plugs asap?

Multistrada Brake judder.

Hmm,they all do that sir.
It seems to effect some bikes worse than others.Mine had a slight judder as I came to a stop,only for the last 20-15mph.It disapeared after the first service when the dealer cleaned up the pads.It did come back for a while but has since disapeared again.It could be a heat related thing as Ive not been riding the bike quite as hard these last few weeks.
I expect Ducati will do a recall if the problem persists.

As for the restrictors,have the dealer take them out at the first service.They are a bit of a beeatch to get at and you need to remove just about every bit of bodywork.
Mind you,it'll give you something to do in the dark winter nights!
