DP / Termi kit

Hi guys,

did any of you lot go for the DP kit that includes cams ??

No idea how much this kit costs (awaiting a call back) but was just wondering if anyone has tried it yet.
This kit also quotes 'racing exhaust' so wonder if it is different to the one described as 'steel silencer with carbon end pieces'

John there are two "engine upgrade" kits in the DP catalogue;
96439103B,Stainless steel silencer c/w carbon end pieces,ECU and air filter.Available in dealers now for around 700quid.
979300242,as above but with new cams.
I guess this will push the price over the 1000 pound mark.
Personally I have'nt gone down the Termi route.I'm waiting for those lovely SilMotors to become available.
The only "performance" mod Ive done to mine is ping out the airbox restrictors. The result is more midrange torque and a lot more intake noise.Cost to me,........zilch!

Thanks for the response.
I just checked the catalogue again, and it says:
"Steel silencer and carbon end pieces kit, includes electronic control unit and air filter"
or
"engine upgrading kit complete with new cams and racing exhaust, electronic control unit, and air filter".

These are both under the 'sets of racing silencers' section though.

300 quid for a pair of cams ??
I hope your not right. I wonder how much a pair of normal cams would be ??

I guess I'm just trying to once again make sure I choose the right option, as I'll kick myself if they make a significant improvement for what seems a sensible increase in price.

Oh. I forgot...
Ducati parts...

Thanks guys, still undecided between an MS and an ST4S, but test rides booked for later this week, and the VFR has now been sold

Guy’s, I’m just about to make the same decision on cans as part of my MultiStrada Purchase. Does anyone know how they will effect the following compared to the standard cans.

Power ?
Sound?

Regards, Dazza (Catdui)

If it's the same as the 749's

more power
more noise

and as a bonus looks better

Catdui,

I had the 'standard' Termi package fitted late last year. Haven't really done enough miles with them yet to comment too much on power output but as Daz says it certainly looks better and sounds faster!

Have a butcher's at the photos I've posted in Photo section under heading'My Trusty Steed!'

Cheers!
