Kev, thanks for putting this up for me.

I've finally managed to do a list of spec etc, which is below.

2002 M620ie Class A Desmo Due race bike as ridden in the Hottrax Ducati Sporting Club series.

It took me to 2nd in the Class A Championship in 2013 and has got me a good few trophies during the 2014 season so far.
I’m challenging for podiums on a regular basis, so a great bike in the right hands, which is able to win.

It started life as a standard Dark model, and has been raced by a few owners in the paddock over the last few seasons.

I got the bike 2 years ago, raced it for the last few rounds of 2012 and then did a full strip down and replacement of all bearings and rough bits, including powder coating the frame and wheels, new head bearings, new wheel bearings, new shock linkage bearings, new hydraulic clutch slave cylinder, new clutch plates etc etc.

It has a decent spec with most of the right bits and is well set up, having had the suspension refreshed and set up for the start of the 2014 season by Pete Clifford from Actiforce racing.

Details as follows

V5 with some paperwork. Currently SORNED

Race prepared by Nelly at Cornerspeed Ducati, top end refresh, squish set, cam timing done but nothing to affect reliability at the start of the 2014 season, with receipts to prove all work done.

Then Piper Cross filters and more dyno work done by DWR in June 2014 to get a couple more BHP out of it after fitting the new 748 tank.

Spec as follows

ST2 adjustable forks.

Showa 916 rear shock

Power commander all tuned in and running perfect, makes a tad over 61HP on Nelly's dyno or 63 on DWR dyno

Cut down 998 nose fairing, ZX6R seat unit, and cut down 748 belly pan.

748 fuel tank.

Lightweight aluminium swingarm

New 520 chain for start of season

916 4 pot x 4 pad calipers .

916 rear brake master cylinder

Custom 2 into 1 system made by NRP exhausts and passes every noise test at 96db

Ignition/immobiliser and clocks removed so no hassles with clocks if they get damaged, currently has an LED tacho, oil light and neutral light only.

ECU free coded to work from kill switch.

Race supplies rear sets fitted, interchangeable between road and race shift.

ASV short brake and clutch levers.

Swing arm paddock stand bobbins

Front axle crash protectors

Frame crash bungs

Engine case protection

Quick action throttle

New oil cooler for 2014 and fitted with protective mesh guard(Lesson learned).

Lightweight battery fitted and repositioned below new 748 tank.

PP tuning clip on handlebars with removable tubes for ease of changing.

Oil and filter changed every 2nd race meet with semi synthetic. It was done for Knockhill round at which I only did one race, so all good to go.

Clutch works well after the addition of the new hydraulic slave cylinder and the slipper clutch lets you get away with murder !

New Dunlops fitted for Knockhill and have only done one race.

Spares include

Various sprockets and a spare 520 chain.

Various foot pegs, hangers, and clip on tubes, to get you through a race meet should the worst happen.

Rear shock spring.

Engine casings

Spare wheels with discs, currently with worn Dunlops on them.

Ohlin’s steering damper, (was fitted but I found it didn’t need it)

Original clutch slave cylinder

Monster fuel tank, including sender unit/pump, painted white and in great nick.

External fuel pump (new but never fitted)

Original parts from most of the above adaptations, all boxed and yours to do what you need with.

There’s probably more stuff as well, which I’ll dig out and put in the boxes, including some bits of fairings/seat units etc.

I am asking pretty much what I paid for it, (You can see the original ad on here from Bradders, from when I bought it) this is despite giving it lots of TLC and new parts, mainly because I want it to stay in the paddock and challenge for more cups.

Reason for sale is that I am moving on to more road racing next season and don’t think I’ll be able to get to as many rounds, and garage space is at a premium.

Looking for as close to £2500 as possible and may be possible to deliver or take to Croft round if required.
