888 wanted

I've just joined this forum and I'm looking to buy an 888, probably a post 92 one. You appear to have been helpful to other prospective buyers in the past so heres hoping. I don't know if the budget would stretch to a SP5 as that would be the ultimate but who knows.

That'll do, I'm in no rush at the minute, with the weather not being that favourable.
Why are you painting it?

Looked like this when I bought it,the stickers left marks when they came off, front had stone chips etc.To make the job perfect the only way is a complete repaint.

My '93 888 Strada (gold frame/black wheels) will be up for sale at the beginning of Feb once its back from the painters. It all looks standard but I have had a 916 engine conversion done by Steve Hillary at MotoRapido.

U2U if interested and I can send you some pics and the spec.
