and you thought dukes cost

taking the bike up to cornerspeed tomorow and i need a way home. so i has a quick look at the multimap site, great!! theres a train station just round the corner.
had a look at times etc. turns out it would cost 18 quid and be a 3 1/2 hour journey.
this is a standard one way ticket, no wonder nobody uses the damn things.

i don't so much mind the cost(i do a bit) but how can it take 3 1/2 hours when i can do it in an hour in the car

Where you got to get back to?
If any help, am going to Bedford tomorrow, leaving M1 Jct 13 - return about 11.30 to Surrey.
Not sure where you are, but if I can help, let me know.

Hey Don't knock the railway fares. How else are us railwaymen going to afford our Dukes? I mean the 1st service on my Multistrada today cost me nearly £1350. Mind you thet did throw a new seat screen panniers and carbon fibre bits in Free
