999/ 999s are they reliable?

Simple question, what can present owners to tell me , used to have 998 which did not go wrong SOO! please let me know , good and bad(if any) regardsIan

2003 999S Bip, 4000 miles in 6 months, totally reliable so far, with the exception of the occasional hot-engine stall.

I HOPE I haven't set myself up here! (Touch fingers, cross wood, etc.)

My 999's nearly 2 years old,6k+ miles,only problem so far was a weak battery,replaced under warranty.
There have been a couple of little niggles,but nothing to spoil the enjoyment of a great bike.

749 monoposto, 6 months 'old', 5k miles and so far one minor oil leak and occasionally the engine stops running (@ low rpm)..

999s

where do i start-
18 months old and-
two new batteries
7 new ti end cans
one new rear sub frame
two new tacho assy
three new spark plug-coils
three sets of spark plugs on,e plug was missing the electrode
and 5 different wiring problems concluding with a short curcuit behind the battery box blowing the 20amp fuse
one main coolant hose , one small coolant pipe
one new front brake pump
the screw thread "missing" on the rear brake lever pivot
one split drive chain and a new generator housing a new rear sprocket and carrier and bearings
one U\S ducati quickshifter
one snapped magniesium mirror stay


other than that "its all good baby"
must add though that ive done over 13,000 km and only 1,000 on the road..
