Hi, This isn't a business.....I do this for FUN but if you send me your clutch housing (outer engine cover ) i can rework it to match my works corsa cover for £30 plus p+p. I did this to my own cover, but then bought a "works magnesium corsa part" I am a craftsman and if i do say so myself i couldn't tell the difference.....apart from the weight! P.M me if your interested, This goes for anybody on the list. I also know where you can get the correct shade of green or "baby **** yellow" paint! to match the works bike of the year of your bike. No vat he doesn't need to know.
Steve
P.S. this's not the outer cover but the main cutch housing!

Steve, can you post a pic of your machined clutch housing, Ive got one I could have done!

My clutch bling on my old 749s, not everyones cup of tea and most will say the carbon gives no protection in a spill .... but I like it.

don't forget to mention when ordering that you have a 748R. the slipper clutch takes a different pressure plate without the teeth on the back. other than that, the springs and cover are the same. oh yeah, speedy moto gear is really good kit.

Hi, so what do you lads think?....It's not very shiney, but "works" housing, STM Slipper clutch, s/steel springs, MPL Titanium faced basket, alloy kevlar plates and "works" RS 996 steel outer cover!.......Not the flashest looking set-up but it works
Steve
PS, Not to mention the works/corsa 926cc (888) carbon footrests!!!

Hi

Does anyone know Steve or have any contact details for him? I have been emailing him to discuss getting this done but with no response yet?

Cheers

Chris

Thumbs up

Whatever you do don`t go for the tarts handbag Gold look!

May one be so bold as to suggest a D.P clutch cover with a red presure plate and S/S spring caps with socket head cap screws, or a good equivalent such as JHP.
