coring silencers

Dear all,

As I'm stuck not being able to ride the bike, my thoughts have turned to improvements. I fancy having a go at coring a set of silencers to liberate some more noise . The ones on the bike are perfect so I don't want to attack those but I notice there are a currently a pair of '94 SS 900 silencers (ZDM-A04 and ZDM-B04) on fleabay. Does anyone know if they will fit the 888 Strada?

Thanks,

Keith

as you can fit after market cans between 851/888 and 900SS i can't see why they won't fit. note though they are different (internally i think) between the SS and 8xx type. i think i read that on brads moto one pages.

Thanks for that. I'm not bothered about the internals as those would get butchered in any case.

Not sure if its of any help , But Ive cored and fitted 900 superlight cans to my 851/888 and apart from having them cut and shut to match the angle of the seat they went on fine though being hi rise I obviously had to sort the mounts out .
