Newbie
just bought a 2000 851 and thought it would be a good idea to find out just what I should be doing with her before a good ride out. I didn't manage to get a service book for her so 1st off has to be a strip down, service and good check up, but by who ?? any recommendations.
thanks

Neil

A 2000 851

Thought they stopped making them around 1992. You don't mean a 748 with an 853 conversion do you? Anyway, no matter, welcome to the board.

As Flanks says, someone who knows these thisngs inside out will be along in a minute

No problem, I was wondering where you got a 2000, 851 from! Would have been impressed if this was correct.

Welcome on board, a fine choice of bike,
Just a Few questions before anyone can answer............

how many miles has it got on it?
What part of the G.B. do you live?
What tyres are fitted?
What condition are the brakes, bodywork etc

Regards

Simon
