You sure this fit looking doctor didn't get down off a stage that had a pole in the middle of it?

Hrmmm???

100 quid for five minutes! Dude, you can get an all-nighter for that in some places.

Dom, the e111 (or whaterver it is now) doesn't necessarily cover all medical treatment as it would over here.
I'd've thought it would be covered in holland though... is there any indication that your med card has been taken into account? If not then prob best to start by phoning the people who issues the bill and ask them.

Heard this before that e111 doesn't cover you for everything??? More loopholes than a knitted cardy then??

Travel insurance is very likely to exclude riding a motorbike over 125cc and even more likely to exclude racing a motorbike.

I would guess you would have to take out cover with a specialist company, something to consider next time anyone races abroad???

Ray.

My advice would have been to 'Not have received it...sorry' but then again they did help you out in some way......

Look like it's in DWP's hands now....

Good luck.

If you have a CICA policy (about £240 a year) you're covered for ANY accident, bike racing or otherwise (virtually anywhere in the world), and they'll cover your bills, loss of earnings and pay you some cash for the privilege. Well worth it if you spend as much time as you do in the gravel

Chris Bushell is a rep for them. I have a policy and they pay out real quick and with no fuss, I got £1000 three weeks after torpedoing Mike Atack last year. I did break a nail though
