How much is my bike?

I am thinking about selling up my 583 Monster to fund purchase of 620 problem is I don't know what my bike is worth as I will run it for another year if it is too low a prioce or sell it in bits or something.

Spec is:

Race stuff

Adjustable clip ons (very nice)
Braided hoses
Race brake pads
Ohlins front springs
2 sets of sprockets
New this year Ohlins rear shock
JHP race seat unit
Termignoni twin pipes
Filter
Dynojet
New belts and service this year
Petrol tank
S4 style nose fairing
Dynoed at 49bhp by Steve Jordan Motorcycles

Bills for work done to race prep the bike and for all the bits.

Road stuff

1995 Monster
All road gear with paperwork
Nearly 6000 on clock when bought last year (no paperwork to prove this) 2 previous owners

Anyone got any ideas?

Talking 49BHP!!!! Is that ALL!

I'll give you 50p so long as you pay my entries for next year

there are plenty of people with a better idea than me but i think a well sorted 583, which yours sounds like would get 2k-2.5? a well set up 620 ready to race can be had for 3.5-4 so 1.5k to trade up. these are very rough figs and can be reduced by scouting around a bit or doing some stuff yourself.

anyone else feel free to come up with a more accurate valuation.

between 1.5 and 2K I reckon, only because it comes with the paperwork and road gear.

Don't get me wrong i love it in the 583's (and I'm not saying i'll be any faster on a 620) I'm not desperate to get out just weighing an oppurtunity

620 will be very competitive next year with a few of the quicker 583 riders coming up. you will definitely be quicker on a 620 how much is difficult to say but if you do move up there will always be people to battle with and you will get fatser as a consequence.

Why not put a 620 engine in your 583 as a few have already done this year ?

I think you'd only be looking at around the 1.5k mark mate even if you put it back to full road spec when you MAY be able to ask more but is it worth the hassle Franco,
I only paid that for Monica 18 months ago when she was in full road trim and had 11k miles, 1999 M600 with twin discs, carbon SilMoto's and since then I fitted a Dynojet kit, revalved rear shock and special edition pebble dash paint finish & tea-tray removal. She was dynoed at 50.8 but struggled to carry her huge burden to the finish line
