oil filters

this amybe a bit of a daft question but i need to change my oil filter and was wondering what make to go for

are the k and n ones worth the extra cash or is it best to stick to a genuine ducati one

I have used the K and N ones on my bike. Seem to be fine.

I've always gone for standard Ducati filter. Can't see that one with a red stripe on it will make you and faster!

I bought some K&N ones to use on the race bike because they have the predrilled nut on the end - but wouldn't have bothered otherwise.

If you want to be real cheap, the Ducati oil filter is exactly the same as a Shitroen 2CV - get one from Halfrauds for about 3 quid.
