clutch hub

Is there anyway of removing the clutch hub without using the special tool (which i dont have!)

Easy mate...

As memory serves me right, you'll need a 32mm socket to remove the hub nut, stick the bike in gear, on a Duke paddock stand, put a length of stong wood through rear wheel, get someone to stand on your rear brake, and hopefully that will do it, not ideal, but does work.

Remember to loctite the nut back on when you reverse the procedure.

Careful with the rear brake - it's been know to blow the master cylinder that will cost you more to replace than buying a clutch tool!

You could always use the club's clutch tool - contact Paul James for more info...
