Another day; Another manifold..

After a bit of help really, a couple of weeks ago the rear manifold split on my 749s, managed to get hold of another one, then riding along today when this one goes as well.. Both have split all the way round and right on the top weld. Any reason why this may be?! i'm lost!

Sounds like its getting stressed, is it easy to fit the rear exhaust pipe to it or do you have to struggle to get it on

That's the strange part, as it's easy to fit all together. I know the joints are apparently quite weak but didn't realise it was this bad!

Send me your manifold and I will weld it for you FOC, I am away until 20th Aug if its here when I get back I will do it then send it back or you can call in with it.

Cheers mate, will be sent in post tomorrow, i'm away as of Sunday for a week anyway. But have put return postage address inside, and a fiver to hopefully cover the return postage..

Now tell me if i am taking the absolute Micheal on this one, but save it reoccuring is straps a possiblity at all? if not, not to worry at all as its much appriciated what your already doing! Thanks again, Doug.
