Skidlids at Thruxton today

Nipped along today to watch Skidlids race in the Sounds of Thunder series at a rain threatening, but dry for the racing Thruxton.

Here are half a dozen pics ....

Met up with Bradders and Gordy. Skids turned down our offers of spannering and left us to guard his one wheel 916 whilst he went in search of nice black sticky tyres

I particularly enjoyed watching the RS250s and 125s taking on the 400s.

Some of those bikes were so loud they made your ears bleed....

First race was red flagged. Gordy, Bradders, Matthew and I waited anxiously but saw Kev flagged into the pits..............not him then thank goodness.

Back to the paddock where Kev is explaing to Paul, by the extension of his index finger, that he was just about to move into first slot when the red flags came out

Headed off after this so missed the second race.

Hope you did well mate and see you at Foxes tomorrow night.

Anyone heard from Whele???

Blimey Guys, I looked all day for you and we were sat on the same bank it seems. I found Kev alright and then went round your trail I think. Think I saw your 888 out by the exit Gordy.

My kids were playing up by 5 so I had to leave as well. Hope it all went alright Kev. Fantastic days racing. I love club racing. Back to back Action.

Any way here's some more Pics of Skids. I've some video as well which I'll mail onto you Kev.
