\'94 600ss Panels on a \'97 900ss...

Hi everyone...

Does anyone know if the side Fairing panels of a '94 600ss will fit on a '97 900ss FE?

I think they will, but I an unsure....therefore I need some sort of confirmation.

Your help is greatly appreciated....

Thanks in advance...

Yes they will. Make sure that it is the style that you want though - the earlier panels were slab-sided, while later ones had little scoops close to where your knees will be (to direct air to the rear cylinder?)

cheers,
Chi

The scoops in the later panels were indeed to route air to the back cylinder. Shouldn't give you too much grief given the kind of summer we're in for.....

If you're ever up for a spin around the Watford/Hemel area drop me a u2u.

Cheers,

Ali

Thank everyone for you advice

I saw them on e-bay and figured they would work nicely, assuming they fit.

I am looking at the '94 panels for track day use only...I like my silver bike and want to keep the original panels in as good a shape as they are currently....

If I get the panel I will report back how they fit.....

Ali,
If you are up near Welwyn / St Albans way then drop me a U2U as well....

Often around Hemel/St Albans way as the A4146 Hemel-Leighton Buzzard is about the only decent road within an hour of home! If you know of any others I'd love to know where they are.

Will u2u next week sometime for a spin.

Cheers,

Ali

Sounds good Ali...

I don't know the A4146...

Up until December last year I lived in Cambridge, hence I know the roads between Cambridge and Welwyn/Stevenage and North Stevenage really well...

Drop me a line next week and we can try to meet up..
