Rockingham National Track Day

Hi Everyone,
Would any of you recommend the Rockingham circuit for a first time track day on a 900ss FE at all?

Its real close to my house (relatively) so it would make transport (riding) to the venue best for me, but I want to know if the circuit is worth it on a bike.

I've been round it during a BMW open day, so I have a vague idea about it, but some advice would be useful.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

i actually quite like it. probably not the easiest to learn but having been there before you should be ok assuming it was the same lay out. just take your time learning it, eat and drink little and often and stop if you get too tired. probably the best set of left handers in the country.

Same here, love Rockingham because it's so different to everywhere else and it's cheaper than most too.

Give it a try, and if you don't like it then go home!

No, it's not lacking in grip in the dry, as my completely ragged tyre edges will attest.

Good choice for a 900SS 'cos it's not an out and out power track
