Yeah, I`m not keen on that one.

Dont like the idea of the wear on the rear tyre, chain,sprockets etc.

It looks crap too.

But the picture above (Millie on a shogun), how can they advertise it on there site, if it wont work?

Ah, i thought that was a 250 2 stoke aprillia but looking at the cans it might not be.

It would work on a 4x4 with a 200kg towball weight, problem is if you exceed the manufacturers towball weight you likely to damage the chassis and floor of your towcar. I've seen a picture of a Rover 800 which had rear ripped out towing a large caravan which was way beyond it's towball weight, worked ok for about a year then they lost the caravan after going over a bumb was the rears final straw . Just imagine how you'd feel hearing the creak and then the sound of your bike being dragged along behind you

I bought the bikelug one a couple of months ago and it's great. It folds up into the back of the Freelander and with three locking pins (one on the hinge of the bike channel, and one holding each of the wheel axles on) and it's all together. I also paid a bit extra for the double version, which can be used as both a single and a double bike trailer - single for my trackday bike and double for a couple of dirt bikes. Not sure if it would pull a couple of superbikes so you would have to check that. I think if you bargain hard enough you may even get a small discount. Folds up out of sight in the garage aswell. Good buy and recommended.

The manufacturers state a maximum capacity of 200kg-so a 996/999 will just be ok, but they do say you have to ensure you don't exceed the nose weight of your towbar. Not many towbars will give you a 200kg nose weight-70kg is more normal.
