Been there done that, I was racing in SoT in 2002 on bikes that were only couple of years old at the time and not Golden Oldies, and 10 years later nothing will have changed, although my bikes are now a better spec they will still be far outclassed by an EX INS 996RS etc.
I did enter SoT on the 998R at Silverstone in 2010 but switched the bike off when the previous quallifying session was red flagged and she didn't want to start again from Hot

Looks like there is going to be some really good news about this on Wednesday the 19th of October!

Should have the required purchase made on Sunday before the vendor realises that prices will be rising!

Couple a(is it 6?) nice projects on the go there Kev, fettling in my shed generally refers to hammering and fibreglassing things back to near there origonal state of flatness, I'd forgotten the PRACTICAL SPORTBIKE article of your garage/ garden/ hall/ second bedroom engineering workshops and breakers emporium.

Seems a good compromise; and allows DD mates to race with big bike mates

No age limits (other than those of the ACU) as its open to all DSC members
seperate Championship points and Trophies
