I use shell fully synthetic advance ultra 15w40. But I also use the rock oil and castrol fully synthetic oils.

I always used to use semi synthetic oils but know I have the Ducati I tend to go fully synthetic with plenty of changes if I am doing the milage.

No I said I use 10W40 as recommended by Ducati

http://www.ducati.com/bikes/service....ng&detailId=46

"Ducati uses Shell Advance Ultra with SAE 10W-40 Grade in all of its models."

What oil you guys using

See also earlier thread.

But in the manual I have (996R) it specifically states 15W 50. The Dealer also refused to put in 10W 40. They supply Shell but also Sikoline full synth
