Very nice Frank but can really say yes to the following statement

"Your motorcycle has not been modified in any way from the manufacturers standard specification "

INteresting 748E for me £326 - some from same companies were £397 direct.

748R £289. I still don't understand how that is cheaper!

Paul, they've heard that you only turn the throttle half way! Either that or the system assumes you are a pensioner if you live in Dorset.

Thanks Master Chi

I said "lightly modified"

Motorcycle Direct rang me two hours later to see if I was happy with the quote

erm.....what I meant to say was that you are so well known amongst the UK insurance community for your dextrous handling of motor vehicles that they are all vying for the honour of providing cover for you. The better the performance, the cheaper your quote. You should buy a Veyron.

If that doesn't work, can I interest you in a wholesale batch of combustible vegetation? Due to unforseen circumstances I find myself with a rather large quantity that is surplus to requirements.

- Superb stratigic withdrawl Master Chan, you should have a job in sales

Dominic, sorry - seem to be the fate of being young, previous things I've tried for discounts:

Multiple alarms / locks etc...
BMF / DSC membership
IAM discount - when I really was a member (Pre-Ducati )
No pillion / limited milage / reducing the value of the machine / additional excess.

Cheers - Frank
