Price for 748R?

Hi peeps

Thinking of selling my 2002 748R with 6k miles on it in very good condition. I'm the second owner but it has patchy service history - saying that its my second one and its never missed a beat. Does anyone want to give me an idea as to what a fair price would be for such a thing of beauty? BTW I love the bike but new baby, new job and new house forces sale!
Cheers for any feedback
Rich

It's kinda tricky to say, especially given the time of year (end of the current season)...

1. Is it completely stock and standard?
2. Do you have receipts for work/parts, that'd plug the hole in the service history? (realistically, this'll be the one thing that puts off potential buyers).
3. When was it last serviced (what state are the consumables in)?

At this time of year, it's likely to have to be either a bargain (with someone snapping it up and tucking it away for next year) or right on the money, with the bike/history all spotless.

That aside though, the 748R's still a little bit special...

Ignore Parker/Glass guide prices and ask around a few specialists...

£4-5k is a fair summary. 748R's are now getting to the stage where prices are stabilising and good one's worth paying for as they're getting sought after.
