£900 for an injector?????????????????????????????

FARK!

Well done to DUK doing the honourable thing but £900 is taking the proverbial for a glorified solenoid valve.

I bet you could buy it as a stand-alone part, just not from DUK!

One thing is for sure - I'm holding onto my spare injectors. Antoyne is right of course - it's all sourced externally. We just need the automotive equivalent of the RS or Farnell catalogues!

Speak to my Pit Bitch Mark - he works in the trade so will be able to tell you where to get such equivalents I'm sure. He's probably even got a whole load already laying around the workshop...

If you like GT40s, you should have seen the workshop earlier...

Glad to hear you got a good result there, Natty. I had a similar situation a while back when I had a bent valve replaced on my old 750SS when it was six months out of warranty. But, again, with a good dealer to put my case, DUK stumped up for parts and labour in full; fair play to them.
