03 Plate 748R - Whats it worth?

I'm kinda fancying a new 1098 (as most of you are).

Before I get my heart set on one too much, I'd like to suss out how much my other bikes are worth and ultimately justify the price to change.

Anyway, can you give me your thoughts on the value, trade-in and private sale, of a squeaky clean red 03 plate 748R, 3800 miles, full service history.

By the way, anyone interested in buying it??!!

Cheers
Chris

IMO, a 748R is a lovely lovely bike, especially on an '03 plate. I have no idea on specific value but there have been one or two for sale recently at very competitive prices. The time of year is inevitably gonna be a hindrance too. Are you sure you wanna 1098 ?? Lovely as they are, you're gonna have to find lot of money to change.... What you have now is the ultimate road incarnation of the 748 and will be tough to replace

Chris

Keep the 748 and just lust after a new 1098 or keep the 748 AND buy a 1098, but don`t sell the 748.
