Help needed to change wife\'s mind

I am in the porcess of trying to convince Mrs R that we need to purchase a Monster. I really want it for a run around and for trackdays, to save chucking the SL down the road.
My latest scam is to suggest that the Monster has a low enough seat height for her to ride it. She is 5'2" and used to ride a 350LC. Do any of the DSC ride a Monster who are of a similar height and can help me persuade Mrs R in to such a purchase.
Many Thanks Allan R

Err the wife had a 600 monster but did struggle with cluch, as it was hard to reach and pull in, she could reach the ground easy on unlike the sv we have for her now. I had to lower the SV.

it was a great laugh tho and would shock a few jap riders as I would come past on the brakes

I know several gurlies of that height who own and ride a monster, she should be fine with it!
As for the clutch, they are fairly heavy but a popular fix is to replace the slave cylinder with an aftermarket one, Spareshack supply them if you're stuck - problem solved.
You could always try the monster club,

Agree with Zimbo, & fit a reach-adjustable clutch (& brake) lever...

I'm not sure I should be condoning this subterfuge. I think you should buy the bike for your wife and you get second dibs on it as and when she doesn't need it.

Re. the clutch, Ducati make adjustable clutch and brakes which solved the problem for me. I'm 5'6 and find the my Monster 620 a tad low, if I'm honest, but great fun and very suitable as a runaround/trackday bike, if you ever get a look in once you've got the clutch sorted out for her

Swap the wife for a bike.

Put less air in the tyres.

Make her wear high heels, ooh err.

Met a lady at Woods in Abergele on a 600 monster.
She'd had the bike lowered and clutch mod done and she was about same height as your missus Al. All work done by Woods and it looked fine.
