Trackbike adjustable Head angle

Is anyone running the steeper head angle on their track bikes? Havent really thought about playing about with this as it turns in really well, till my mate said at the last track day are you gona try the race setting some time.
So whos running it and whats the benefits???

Yup. In combination with a longer swingarm.

Quicker turn-in and greater stability when exiting turns at full throttle.

I'm not sure you'd get the same stability if you switch to the steeper setting without mounting a longer swingarm, though...

I tried the fast angle , but ended up going back to std after a while .. to get best effects you need the longer swingarm/rocker combo as mentioned

I ran the steep angle on my 748 for 6 years and have been running the same geometry on my 916SPS for the last 2 years.
Road or track...I just leave it the same and have had no problems with slappers (of the tank style...the other is a different story).
I admit the bars can give a bit of a flap when the wheel is lightly loaded (exiting a bend "aggressively") but otherwise it's cool.
