Best you had send your CV off to Bologna then as you clearly are better qualified than a design team who had the brief of catering to all the 916 purists and the 999 lovers, whilst still coming up with something fresh (no easy task I might add) and ask them to take on board your well founded criticism, assuming as you have that this IS the final version. I am sure they will welcome your input and an opportunity to please a myriad of people the world over simultaneously.

Rattler as ever you are the voice of reason. I salute you sir. Blimey some people are never pleased are they. Not saying I am totally in love with what I see but hell, we have not even seen it officially yet or for that matter in it's entireity. Speculation is a lot easier than the wait for the finished article and with less than a week to go it's rapidly becoming a pointless exercise.

In the words of Andy from Little Britain;

"I don' like it"

In all seriousness, I'm not keen on these pics (bit of a cliche but it does look a bit jap) but i'll reserve judgement until I see it in the flesh

Hmmm....have to agree with the comments about the swingarm. I'm just looking at it on the front cover of MCN and the swing arm looks almost like it could be a scooter engine

From the same front cover shot the exhausts look pretty awful too, almost as if they're stuck on as an afterthought - they certainly don't look nicely integrated with the tail unit. They look a bit cack on pages 2 & 3 as well, again, they almost look as if they're made for a different bike althogether and what's with putting the exhaust outlets at an angle like that? If the angle of the exhaust outlets mirrored the shape of the tail or something I could go with that, but at the moment they just look wrong....Ahhhh....I get it...the DP exhausts will probably look just right
