Fred,

Perhaps you need to use the porn name generator? http://www.jasonschock.com/gangsta/porn_name.php

All the best,

Questionable...

I can appreciate that certain professional forums, such as pprune.com require their ‘posting members’ to remain anonymous for reasons of facilitating candid and impartial arguments. I also appreciate, as Rob B points out, that some forums insist on usernames for that very reason. However, for a forum made up of members (and forum members), such as the DSC , I fail to see the point of usernames. I attended a ukmoc meet last year and I was introduced to people by their first name and subsequently acquainted with their username. To make the whole experience even more exasperating, more familiar members were referring to each other by shortened versions of their usernames. Light hearted perhaps but the question I pose to you ‘rightsaidfred’ is do we need usernames? My name is Vince Jones so, Vince Jones it is. If it’s for reasons of light heartedness, then yes, I can appreciate the value of usernames, but otherwise… Hm?

Vince. Tip of the hat to your succinct observation. Was the same for me, went to the Popham megameet a couple of weeks back and every person with an 888 I met said, Hello, i'm such - and - such, and then tacked on the end, oh and my username is - whatever-. Now dunno bout you guys but I have enough trouble remembering one name let alone two! Daft really innit.
Anyway, my real name is Lyndsay Sheldon.
Pleased to meet y'all.
Yes, I know it's unusual, but Lyndsay is quite a popular name for blokes in Scotland, which is where my lineage is from. In fact i'm a descendant right back to General Gordon of the Battle of Khartoum fame. So don't take the pi** or i'll come round and get all 'Braveheart' on yo ass, with sharp spears and that.
