Looks great Paul!

Nice one Paul, I am considering doing something similar on a similar budget as you had originally stated and reading through all the comments has helped me focus more on the Boxster S but have not started searching yet. Where did you get insurance from in the end. I checked prices last year when I saw a lovely S reg one for sale and TBH the price to insure it as my wifes car was about the same as a family saloon!

Hope you have fun with it and have you booked your trip to Nurburg yet?

Great news Paul. You won't regret it. It'll give you loads of giggle factor. I turned up to see a friend in my 997 last week, and he fell in love with it so much so he went out and got a bank loan to buy his own! It gets delivered in two weeks, so he has two weeks to break the news to the wife ....

Ended up getting it from Adrian Flux insurance. Cost about £550, there were a couple that came up slightly cheaper on the comparison sites but could not get comfirmation on a couple of items until you took up the policy

My own company would not touch the Porsche!!

Enjoy your search, we did Still keep the front curtains open so I can see it on the drive (how sad it that)
