Attn Mr Bushall Angelsey

Probally spelt Bushall wrong but anyway I have just called New Era to claifiy the Angelesy Event.

I asked I am want to book this event but which are point scoring races as there are SIX races. I know that two of them are All Comers and are not point scoring. What about the other FOUR.

In short he did'nt have a clue but his best guess was that there are TWO races on Sat that are point scoring and then he got all confused when I asked if that is for CLASS A and CLASS B, and TWO POINT SCORING races on Sunday. Again he did,nt know anything about A or B

He then said that we need to speak to Chris.

Chris what do I need to book as there is a big difference between £200 and £100. Also on the other Anglesey thread people are asuming different things.

I cannot confirm, but in line with previous two day events the Sunday is the points scoring round and the saturday are non championship races.

I would expect this to be the same for this year.

new Era operate the events for us but do not manage the championship so will not be able to answer these type of questions.

you may get a quicker answer via the email address as well.

From the second riders briefing note that was sent out by Chris Bushell a couple of months ago

We have the option of going to Anglesey for the 1st time next year, but are aware that it is a fair distance for some entrants to travel to. Accordingly we will take feedback from riders on their level of interest in going there before confirming that date. Please confirm your interest or comments by e-mail to desmodue@ducatisportingclub.com

We are looking at running 16 races over the course of the season with the ability to drop the lowest two scores. In the event that the riders choose not to go to Anglesey then we will run a double header (4 races) at Cadwell Park in August

All rounds should be run on the basis of two races on the main day, but see above note. If riders wish there may well be the ability to organize additional non-Championship races at the two-day rounds on the Saturday.

Current levels of entries should ensure that we have two separate grids through the season, provided that everyone gets their entries in early.

Anglesey is my second nearest circuit this year and will be extremely disappointed if it's not points scoring. Why would entries govern points scoring rounds? Should all races be held in the back yard of the majority? Anglesey is in my opinion the best tarmac in the country and would implore everyone to get down to experience this outstanding venue

if 50 DD riders had replied to the email address saying they didn;t want to go to Angelsey then I doubt very much if we wouldhave had a grid there, as it turns out the majority were happy to have a round of DD at Angelsey and therefore there will be two point scoring races on the Sunday, with New Era laying on Non championship races on the Saturday

Personally I would rather be going back to Assen

I made the 4 hour drive to Anglesey to do a TD on Monday
I'm glad i did, the Coastal Circuit is brilliant and great fun on a DD bike.

I won't mention names But the other Class B and A riders enjoyed it
