Suspension 848

Has anyone made any adjustments to their 848's stock suspension settings,
Or is there anyone in Lincolnshire that anybody would recomend to have set their bike up.

Had a big accident at cadwell 3 weeks ago on my trackbike and since then i cant help feeling the 848 feels like the back ends twitching and skitting about going into turns.

Not used tham myself, but a mate had his Gixer 600 set up by them a few years ago, and was quite happy with the result. (he was a fairly fast road rider)

Suspension

A TTX is a bit overkill on a road bike in my opinion especially seen as there is a recession!

Will give WP a bell cheers.

Try getting Hold of Mick Grant, Yes that Mick Grant!!
He lives our way, Swallow I thnk, and does a set up service for about £30 to £50 and whats best is that he will teach you as he does it.
Much better than the guys at Trackdays.
If you cant find his details on the web let me know and I will see what I can do.

IMO the suspension on any modern Ducati is more than good enough for most of us. It just needs optimising and the best way of doing that is to learn how to do it yourself. It's a skill you can take with you to any bike and when it goes out of adjustment for whatever reason, you know how to sort it out again.

Buy a book, find a decent bit of road to test on, take some tools and spend a bit of time.

Throwing a wedge of cash at a flash shock is not the answer as it will still need setting up.
