Wireless network help

I am looking at putting a wireless network into my new pc.I was looking at Netgear, but there is a HUGE conflict between Netgears pci card and AMD cpu's.I am looking now at Belkin or 3com,but am somewhat at sea!I am on broadband.Any advice on modem/routers and pci cards would be most appreciated.

D-Link's good gear, Linksys is good too, if a little "fisher price" in appearance to my eye.

@ Fisher Price

I use a Vigor Draytek which has served me well for two years. I was lucky enough to 'find' a Cisco wireless card lying around at work for my old laptop but my new one has one built into it.

My PC is just cabled into the 4 port switch part of the router the same as any hub.

Pretty much any wireless adaptor you can get your hands on will work, you just need to make sure you have the appropriate drivers.

I've set one or two of these up so might be able to help if you're struggling.

Cheers,

TP
