guys, a word of warning.
we've been over this last weekend, and one of our lot got a ticket.

the copper was on a totally unmarked bmw. Only sign externally was a small red led sign above the rear numberplate that lit up to say 'police stop' (yes, it actually said it in english).
the copper had followed her for a while, videoing all that she had done. She had waved him by, but he had not gone, so she picked up the pace a bit.
He finally overtook her as she slowed at a road junction.

He made her watch the video before he wrote the ticket out and would let her go (she thought she was riding great on the video, but decided not to tell him )

118 euro fine (fortunately she was the slowest in our group ! - probably why he picked on her as he could easily catch her).
Comment was that if she could not pay by cash or card on the spot they would seize the bike, and if the speed was high enough it would be crushed

So, have fun guys but if you see a browny gold bmw, or a similar coloured honda pan behind you (we saw this one in Adenau), I'd be inclined to let them go.
