What a small (888) world we live in !!

888 ownership is an incestuous thing.

Did some business today with a 888 fan over a cup of tea....

He was beaming over a lovely new spondon 888 frame hes just taken owenership of - Just sold by Rob Barksfield !

He then started to tell me how he'd spoken to John Hackett about a 888 Racing hes just sold and was going up next week to have a look and take some pics - Logyks new bike.

Finished off by telling me how hes having some throttle bodies developed at the moment - by Rich Llewellin (Louigi!!)

Knows his stuff...hes got a selection of 996RS's, a mint 888 SP5, and a 888 Corse hes building up (ex hobbsport racing bike)

Hes also just found his mate a 1700 mile example of an SP5 which hes pciking up the weekend...

He scanned the original performance berks write up on the hobbsport racing 888 and ill try posting it up..makes very interesting reading indeed !!! (140 hp and 140 odd kg !!). Apparently used to leave Rob McElneas loctite OW01 for dead in races

That is interesting Nat.

Spoke to John today and he was telling me about the guy you met.

He wanted to buy my bike. Sounds an interesting guy who is obviously well into 888s. But then it isn't difficult to get into them is it ?
