Hi deej

I must appologise for Nigelc, he has a medical condition that makes him believ that yellow Ducati`s are better than red ones. Of course any person with more than a single deformed time share brian cell will tell you the tr4uth and that there is only one colour for a Ducati and thats RED.

Much the same as there is only one colour for a Ferrariand thats red.

Don`t turn to the dark (yellow) side!!!!

cheers for your help guys

i must admit the colour choice is a difficult one, along with insurance. i always beleived ducati's should be red and red only especially on the 996/916 but the yellow 748's do look good but there seems to be a lot more yellow ones for sale, would you say that £7300 for a 02 R with carbon extra's and 3200miles is a bit expensive or worth the money especially as ducatiaylesbury have a few R's around £6600 . i think i'd have to try and sell the original bits on ebay to make it affordable, any thoughts appreciated

There's so many yellow ones for sale because the owners are upgrading to red ones!!! Black ones have grown on me a lot, especially since a hybrid black and red one was propped up by my leg as we went sliding out of turn 1 at Rocky ...

If you sell the original bits it might be harder to get rid of it later if you need to. General consensus seems to be that you hang onto the original stuff and if you need to sell up you flog the fast bits/nice goodies separately and return the bike to original condition for sale.

Get what you want mate, they are great bikes - you won't be disappointed
