305mm Front disc's

forgive me, I always post in here, as you get good information from people like Nelly,

The front disc's on a Hypermotard S are 305mm, are these discs shared with any other Ducati, I know the momoblocs are 1098 ones, but the 1098 uses 320mm dics, info appreciated,

a thought, as I am using a 1098 front wheel, 1098 monoblocs, what would I need to alter to run 320mm 1098 discs?

Actually I think that the 1098 run 330mm discs.

There is no change of caliper, pads or anything to run different size discs. The only think you need to change are the spacers on the forks typically.

I run 320mm and 290mm on my RS and all I do is change the spacers. I had some made up as well as Ducati Corse ones were just silly money. That said, road gear is cheaper, so maybe just look at the right part numbers from the catalogue and ask for prices.

Thanks for the info, so in theory I could run 330mm 1098 front discs but just have to buy 1098 spacers?

Yep, thats the beauty of the Radial mount, add a couple of 12.5mm spacers and fit the 330mm diameter discs
providing they have the same offset
