Fast idle button on 916...

The fast idle button on my 916 has ceased to function. Anyone know how I should adjust the throttle cable to remedy this, and whether I have any control over how fast it will idle when adjusted?

Thanks

Andrew

The fast idle button works purely by turning the throttle slightly.
The fast idle speed is set by adjuting the amount of slack in the cable.
Use the adjuster on the throttle housing to take out some slack until it starts. Try and keep the idle as low as possible, 1100 - 1300 rpm is usually possible.
