Is it only the 'R' models that have the sand cast casings (God, I'm sad)

Ducv2 - sorry mate, the sps have them too, were the first i belive

Much though I love my 996SPS, is it posssible the 916SPS was a bit more special??, the cases on mine are smooth(ish) and do not appear to be rough sand castings, I would be happy if they were, make it even better in my eyes. No faster though. Think we have hijacked this post, sorry.
