Shame not to see a 998 doing the business, but Frankie on a good bike has got to be good for all the race fans that watch WSB

There's also only 2 Ducatis in BSB - there's around 10 x ZX's, 10 x R1s, 4 x GSX's and a dozen Blades or so.

Blimey - better bring back the 998's tres vite!!!!

What ever he rides he will still have the biggest following of any WSB, poss even GP rider, a true gentleman.

Good. If this really is a factory supported team, then he may actually have a chance at the title - he's good enough amongst the current competition, (with the exception of Corser who'll win it if the bike is good).

Not many Ducatis around because the jap bikes are better and cheaper to run and the rules give the IL4's a chance now.

Should be another classic season for WSB, BSB and MotoGP I reckon. (and for New Era Superclub 250GP's), (ok and Desmo Due).

So, are you gonna race Monty's classic TZ, then?

Yep, Monty and I have unfinished business on the TZ. I spent the year learning how to ride a stroker and I know I can go faster on it still, plus Monty has a few tricks up his sleeve for getting the suspension and engine performing even better, so we can only improve. We'll be racing with New Era Superclub again, only this time we'll do the full season in the GP250's class as all the 250's are in the same race this year with two grids for pre and post 1995 bikes. I'll no doubt have the odd blat on the CB5 as well and I'm trying to persuade Monty to get his licence renewed and do a few races with me running around the paddock looking after him for a change.

I'd have put money on you becoming an axe murderer. Now I am glad I didn't.

Great stuff, WJB and Monty. Show 'em how it's done!
