Racing wheels

Can anyone tell me if racing 5 spoke wheels will fit to a SP4?
I can buy them with discs and everything on it, but wonder if the width of the forks are enough for these wheels.
Anyone an idea?

I have been using for some time the three and five spoke road wheels from the 9xx/monsters/STs. Both front and rear are about 1kg lighter than the 888 wheels.
Some of the monsters use 17mm rear axles with the later three spoke wheels. For wheels with the 25mm axle you can change the bearings and internal spacer.
Any front wheel will also fit if you change bearings and internal spacer. The only thing to check is the drive for the speedo, you may need to bend the metal drive plate to fit.

I do mean marchesini. Not strada wheels, but corsa wheels.
I have to change the bearings, but will they fit between the forks?

if they have corsa rotors the offset will be too wide for the road triple clamps. not sure if the bolt pattern allows road rotors to be bolted to race wheels but i'm sure someone will chime in.......phil911?????

Well, we have 3 spoke corsa wheels (Fogarty has ridden with these wheels) with the corsa discs and they can fit if you switch the forks (thanks Rob NL for the tip is you read this ). That can be done since they actually raced with those Öhlins. But when they used the 5 spokes, they had the newer öhlins fork.
Perhaps Phil can tell us what the width is from the 3 spokes and from the 5 spokes, since he has both????
Phil????

Then you have the strada wheels, not the corsa.
You can know by the measures of the brake discs:
what is the diameter of the innercircle? And what is the diameter from the bolt circle? If it is 64 - 80, then you have strada wheels.
